Nelko Group of business enterprises was founded in the year 1957 by Mr. MathaiCyriac Nelluvelil, popularly known as Nelko Appachen. He was a 3rdgeneration businessman hailing from the Nelluvelil family in Central Travancore. In its initial days the group was primarily into various governmentcontracts. Mr.Mathai Cyriac Nelluvelil, developed the business widely to the length and breadth of Central Travancore. Later the business expanded to Hospitality business, Trading, Retails,etc.
Much later, in the year 1998 the business was diversified by founder’s son Mr.Berly Cyriac Nelluvelil, into Medical Diagnostics, and he comes with rich business heritage and professional management qualification. Mr.Berly Cyriac Nelluvelil is the Director of South India’s leading diagnosticchain, Medivision. Mr.Berly again ventured into further diversification and founded Nelko Finance, a Gold Loan company based at Cochin in the year 2015.
